Research & Development Wing

The institute has been instrumental in spearheading numerous illuminating research projects, led by our expert faculty members, to instigate exploratory skills in students, helping them advance in their respective fields.

The Research & Development Wing is headed by Dr. B Venkata Raman, who is the Dean-Director-Professor In Charge of our Innovation Centre.

He has developed various products and been an understudy for projects galore at Audisankara College of Engineering and Technology (ASCET), Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Kuppam Engineering College, Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Sciences (MITS), amongst a few.

Dr Raman has an experience of over 25 years in teaching and mentoring students in their engineering careers, with multiple projects, journals and publications in his kitty. He also holds a patent in “Sequential Separation of High Value Products from Consortium of Microalgae”, filed on December 31, 2010.

Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) at Department of Anthropology, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in association with Yale University, U.S.A in December 1997.
National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi, financial support given by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, 1999.
National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune, funded by National Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, 2002.
National AIDS Research Institute (NARI), Pune, funded by National Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, 2002.
National Centre for Cell Sciences (NCCS),University of Pune, Pune, funded by National Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, 2002.
Addressed as Resource person to present our R&D activities in several scientific gatherings.
Contributed as resource person in “High Impact Teaching Skills programs” conducted by KLU, Vaddeswaram.
Member, Ethical committees of different Universities for monitoring the animal experiments as per the CPCSEA guidelines of India.
Capable of maintaining Animal Tissue Culture lab, Animal house and Breeding centre and also, Cell lines.
Organised National Level Technical paper presentations, trainings, seminars and workshops in thrust areas of different Engineering/ Technology/ Science core areas.
